Huobi Token (HT) is a legacy exchange token launched by Huobi, the platform later rebranded as HTX. HTX’s conversion service from HT to the separate HTX DAO token, HTX, ended on January 20, 2025; HT remains a distinct market-listed asset and should not be treated as interchangeable with HTX.

HT and the HTX rebrand
Huobi introduced HT in 2018 as an exchange-linked token. The exchange later adopted the HTX name. In 2024, HTX announced a conversion route from HT to the HTX DAO token and said certain exchange benefits would move to HTX. The official notice states that the conversion service ended on January 20, 2025. Older descriptions of HT fee discounts, membership perks, or conversion options are historical terms, not evidence that they are active today.
HT and HTX have different tickers, market listings, and token contracts. A listing for HT does not prove that HTX still accepts conversion or that an HT holding receives the same benefits as HTX. Check current exchange support and the exact asset and network before transacting.
Tokenomics and supply
CoinGecko’s HT listing reports a maximum supply of 500 million HT and describes the original 2018 distribution as including user-package sales, tokens reserved for user rewards and platform operations, and a team allocation with vesting. Those figures describe the historical issuance plan; they do not establish HT’s present utility or the current status of each allocation. The conversion window has ended, so HT market data should be read separately from HTX DAO’s token.
