GigaWallet is an open-source Dogecoin backend service and API for platforms that want to accept and process DOGE payments. It manages payment-related accounts, invoices, balances and UTXOs, and provides public endpoints for payment data, QR codes and DogeConnect payloads. It is an integration component for businesses, not a wallet app for individual users.

Accounts, invoices and payments
GigaWallet’s API lets a business link accounts to its own customer records, create invoices, monitor balances and handle outgoing payments. Its public API can provide payment URLs, QR codes and DogeConnect data for a front end. The business still supplies its own product catalog, customer accounts and checkout experience.
How it connects to Dogecoin
The project documentation says GigaWallet currently works with a Dogecoin Core node and relies on that node for blockchain data. Operators should use a node they trust, protect the administrative API behind a firewall, and follow the current installation and security guidance. GigaWallet is not a separate blockchain or a Dogecoin Layer 2.
Project maturity and risks
The repository has described GigaWallet as beta software. Before production use, check the latest release, maintenance activity, supported deployment instructions and security advisories. A payment backend handles sensitive wallet and transaction operations; incorrect configuration or a compromised host can put funds at risk.
