Instadapp (INST)

Instadapp is a DeFi middleware platform that developed DeFi Smart Accounts (DSAs), smart-contract accounts used to interact with underlying protocols. The token formerly called INST was rebranded FLUID in December 2024; FLUID, the Instadapp platform, and the Fluid protocol are related but distinct names.

What Instadapp does

Instadapp’s documentation describes the platform as middleware connecting smart accounts to other DeFi protocols. A DSA is a non-custodial smart-contract account and proxy: it can call integrations and combine actions, while assets and positions remain subject to the account contracts and protocols used. “Non-custodial” does not eliminate smart-contract, wallet, or underlying-protocol risk.

Instadapp, Fluid, and FLUID

The team behind Instadapp introduced the Fluid product in 2023 and launched Fluid DEX V1 in 2024. The official Fluid MiCA whitepaper says Instadapp continues as a standalone platform and that the project token first launched as INST was rebranded FLUID in December 2024. The old ticker can appear in historical records, but current token references use FLUID. This token should not be confused with similarly named assets from unrelated protocols.

Tokenomics and supply

CoinGecko lists FLUID with a maximum supply of 100 million and identifies it as the renamed Instadapp (INST) token. The MiCA whitepaper describes allocations for community incentives, governance, team, and ecosystem development, with vesting where applicable. It frames holder staking benefits as conditional on rollout, so do not assume token-level rewards or fee reductions are guaranteed. The market table uses CoinGecko’s legacy API identifier for continuity, while the visible ticker is FLUID.
