Thruster is a decentralized exchange associated with Blast. A 2024 Code4rena review describes the audited code as modified Uniswap V2 and V3 forks, including constant-product and concentrated-liquidity pools. This documents a historical code scope; it does not prove that the same contracts or features are currently served by the app.
Pool designs and Blast
A V2-style pool uses a constant-product design; a V3-style pool lets liquidity providers choose price ranges. Concentrated liquidity can improve capital efficiency within a range, but providers face out-of-range positions and impermanent loss. Blast’s network-level yield or rebasing design is separate from a DEX pool’s trading fees and returns; none should be treated as guaranteed.
Historical Blast Foundation materials listed Thruster among Blast applications and documented dapp reward distributions. These records explain its early ecosystem role, not future token value or trading income.
Risks and verification
Before swapping or providing liquidity, verify the official app URL, chain, pool and token addresses, fee settings, and current documentation. Consider slippage, approvals, smart-contract exploits, and thin liquidity. An audit covers only its stated scope and code version, not later changes or every operational dependency.
Social Media Sentiment
A May 2024 r/blast post reports one user’s claim that a Thruster Pool transaction was canceled and that Discord support blocked them. The post drew little discussion, and the account is not independently verified here. It is one historical support complaint, not proof of a broader pattern or current service quality.
