Adrena

Adrena is a Solana-based decentralized perpetual-futures protocol. Its documentation describes oracle-priced, asset-backed positions and an ALP liquidity component. Traders use collateral to open leveraged long or short exposure without taking delivery of the underlying asset; liquidity providers take on a different set of market and protocol risks.

Trading and Liquidity Model

Perpetual contracts do not have a fixed expiry date. Adrena’s project documentation describes positions whose value depends on oracle prices, collateral, borrowing costs, and protocol parameters. These inputs can change, so old fee tables, leverage limits, and asset lists should not be treated as live settings.

ALP is part of Adrena’s liquidity design. Providing liquidity is not the same as holding a stablecoin: pool value and fees can be affected by traders’ profits and losses, asset prices, utilization, and smart-contract behavior. The project’s documentation specifically says ALP lock staking has been discontinued, even though older pages still show historical lock schedules.

Risks and Current-Information Limits

Leverage can amplify losses and liquidation can close a position before a trader expects. Oracle delays or errors, thin liquidity, borrow costs, contract vulnerabilities, and changes to the product can add risk. The available official parameter and oracle pages are not newly dated, so verify current operation, supported assets, fees, and withdrawal conditions directly in the official interface before relying on them.

Social Media Sentiment

A Feb. 25, 2026 r/defi comparison listed a self-reported ALP annualized figure at that time and warned that vault rates can fluctuate or turn negative. It was a single yield roundup, not an Adrena review, and it does not establish current returns or broad user sentiment.
